Guns don’t kill people. The criminally insane kill people with guns. When you and I were young we had insane asylums to restrain the criminally insane, fortunately many of them were rehabilitated however many were not.
Do insane asylums exist. Quote the Internet. “Some mental asylums still exist in the 21st century, but they’ve been rebranded as mental hospitals. There are a lot fewer of these facilities”.
The statement some suggest that these institutions are limited. You and I can remember when the woke determined they weren’t necessary.
Now let’s talk about deterrence when a man’s livelihood depended on a horse the statement was made, we do not hang horse thieves for stealing horses we hang horse thieves so others will not steal horses. This sentence for stealing a horse was not deliberated in the courts. I’m sure Those that stole horses had regrets before their execution. During the opium wars people were executed for selling drugs in China this deterrent did work. If we go to deterrence without litigation this can help.
